A glossary of Meyer’s terms, with the German, the English choices we use, and the reasoning behind them, is in preparation alongside the translations.
03 / THE PLATES
Meyer’s book is illustrated with woodcut plates: pairs of fencers, but also the halls, streets, and onlookers around them. An annotated, figure-by-figure edition of the plates is planned for this site.
