What we study
Meyer and beyond
We are a historical fencing school built on Joachim Meyer’s Kunst des Fechtens (1570) and the weapons in his work: longsword, dussack, rapier and more. Alongside it, Jorge teaches smallsword and sabre from the later manuals.

Victor
Leads the Florida Living Meyer Historical Fencing Program at Davis Fencing Academy. Teaches Joachim Meyer’s Kunst des Fechtens (1570): longsword, dussack, rapier and the other weapons in his work.
Smallsword and sabre
Jorge
Teaches smallsword and the contemporary weapons of the time, from the manuals of Philibert de la Touche, Domenico Angelo and Manuel Antonio de Brea, and sabre from Alfred Hutton.
